Ultra One Day for Astigmatism, explained.
Bausch + Lomb Ultra One Day for Astigmatism Daily Toric Contact Lenses
Bausch + Lomb Ultra One Day for Astigmatism are daily disposable toric contact lenses for people with astigmatism who want clear, stable vision and comfort that lasts a long day. You put in a fresh pair every morning, so there's nothing to clean or store.
Each lens is made from kalifilcon A, a breathable silicone hydrogel, and uses Bausch + Lomb's OpticAlign™ Design to settle quickly and stay in position with every blink. It's part of the Ultra range from Bausch + Lomb, alongside the monthly Ultra for Astigmatism.
Key Benefits
- A fresh daily disposable lens every day, with no cleaning or lens case
- OpticAlign™ Design helps the lens settle fast and stay stable with each blink
- Designed for up to 16 hours of comfort with Advanced MoistureSeal® and ComfortFeel Technologies
- Keeps 96% of its moisture across 16 hours of wear
- HighDefinition™ Optics to help reduce halos and glare, including in low light
- Breathable silicone hydrogel with built-in UV blocking
- Cylinder powers from -0.75 up to -2.75
Who Ultra One Day for Astigmatism Is Best For
- People with astigmatism who want the ease of a daily lens
- Long days and screen-heavy work, when comfort usually fades by the evening
- Drivers who notice halos or glare from headlights at night
- Higher astigmatism prescriptions, with cylinders up to -2.75
- Part-time wearers, sport and travel, where a fresh lens each time is simpler
- Ultra for Astigmatism wearers who'd like to move to a daily lens, once their optician has fitted it
What Makes Ultra One Day for Astigmatism Special
The main challenge with any toric lens is keeping it in the right position. If it turns on the eye, the astigmatism correction turns with it and your vision blurs.
Ultra One Day for Astigmatism uses Bausch + Lomb's OpticAlign™ Design, which is thinnest under the upper eyelid and uses the downward movement of each blink to guide the lens back into place. In a Bausch + Lomb study, 95% of lenses settled to within 10° in 30 seconds, and 97% rotated less than 3°, or not at all, with each blink.
Comfort comes from two technologies working together. Advanced MoistureSeal® keeps the lens moist through the day, and ComfortFeel releases ingredients that help protect and stabilise your tear film.
How Ultra One Day for Astigmatism Compares to Other Daily Toric Lenses
Ultra One Day for Astigmatism is often compared with other silicone hydrogel daily toric lenses, and with Bausch + Lomb's own toric range.
Compared with Other Bausch + Lomb Toric Lenses
- Ultra for Astigmatism: Bausch + Lomb's monthly Ultra toric lens
- Biotrue ONEday for Astigmatism: Bausch + Lomb's hydrogel daily toric lens
Compared with Other Silicone Hydrogel Daily Toric Lenses
- Precision1 for Astigmatism: Alcon's daily toric lens
- Dailies Total 1 for Astigmatism: Alcon's daily toric lens
- Acuvue Oasys 1-Day for Astigmatism: Acuvue's daily toric lens
- MyDay Toric: CooperVision's daily toric lens
- Clariti 1 Day Toric: CooperVision's daily toric lens
Ultra One Day for Astigmatism is designed around stable vision and clear sight in low light, with cylinder powers up to -2.75. The right lens depends on your eyes, so your optician should fit any change of lens. You can see every option in our toric contact lenses range.
Ultra One Day for Astigmatism FAQs
Can I order these lenses with my glasses prescription?
No. You need a current contact lens prescription, because it includes the base curve, diameter, cylinder and axis that a glasses prescription doesn't. Enter the values exactly as they're written on your prescription.
My prescription is for Ultra for Astigmatism, the monthly lens. Can I order these?
Ultra One Day for Astigmatism is a different lens from the monthly Ultra for Astigmatism, even though they share a name. Please ask your optician to fit it and update your prescription before you switch.
How long can I wear them each day?
Bausch + Lomb designed these lenses for up to 16 hours of comfortable wear. Always follow the wearing time your optician has given you, and read our guide on how long you can wear contact lenses.
Can I sleep in Ultra One Day for Astigmatism lenses?
No. They're daily disposable lenses, so take them out before you sleep and throw them away. Our guide on sleeping in contact lenses explains why.
Do the lenses protect my eyes from UV?
They have built-in UV blocking, but because a contact lens doesn't cover the whole eye and the skin around it, you should still wear UV-protective sunglasses.
How long does a box last?
A box holds 30 lenses, which is 30 days for one eye or 15 days if you wear a lens in each eye. If you'd like boxes to arrive before you run out, choose Subscribe & Save when you order. If you'd rather buy once, choose one-time purchase.
Use the power, base curve, diameter and any cylinder or axis values shown on your current contact-lens prescription. A glasses prescription cannot be used to order contact lenses.
